COmpany Overview:
The Deane Center for the Performing Arts is a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes the arts and community through programming and the rental of its facilities.​
Primary Responsibilities:

​Represent the Deane Center in a friendly, professional manner at all times.

Work closely with the Executive Director to ensure that the Deane Center is prepared for scheduled events.

Assist as needed at events sponsored by the Deane Center.

Perform all custodial duties as needed.
-
Ensure a safe work environment for employees and visitors to the Deane Center.

Work with prospective renters, to ensure rooms are clean and set as needed.
-
Keep records of periodic maintenance activities such as filter usage, and elevator inspections.

Work with Community Service personnel when and as needed.
-
Work with event calendar and office staff to ensure the facility is ready to host scheduled events.

Maintain a safe work environment for staff and visitors.

Ensure the building can be adequately secured. That adequate security, fire control, and other safety mechanisms are in working order. Respond to calls regarding security lapses.

Maintain inventory of tables, chairs, and tools. Update annually.

Maintain the facility and grounds and schedule repairs whenever necessary.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.

Hours & Compensation:
-
Approximately 30 hours per week. The schedule will vary to meet business needs.
-
Hourly rate of $13-$15 per hour based on experience.
