Who can attend the party, and what does the fundraiser support?
This event is open to the public. The evening is filled with fun activities, dining, and entertainment. All ticket sales and donations will directly support the Deane Center's annual programming, with a fundraising goal of $10,000.

What time should I arrive, and when are the activities?
The gangway opens at 5:00 PM for cocktail hour and appetizers. Guests check-in and activities will take place in the Main Lobby and other first-floor areas during this time. At the registration table, you'll receive your event schedule, drink voucher, and "Deane Dollars" to spend in the casino. You can also sign up for special activities. Seating will be assigned and seating charts will be posted near the registration table.

What do I need to know to reserve a ticket?
When you call to reserve your tickets, you'll need to provide your menu choices (see below), and let the staff know where you'd like to sit.
Seating options:
Coolidge Seating: If you'd like to sit in the Coolidge area, you'll need to reserve a table, as that will be your designated seat for both dinner and the evening's entertainment. There are two options for reserving a table in the Coolidge:

• A 4-person table is $75​

• An 8 person table is $150

• These tables will be yours for the entire evening

Other Seating Areas: In addition to the Coolidge, seating will be available in the lobby and inside Beck's Bistro for dinner. You don't need to reserve these tables, and there's NO CHARGE to sit in these areas. 

Entertainment Seating: After dinner, there will still be plenty of seating available in the Coolidge area for the entertainment portion of the evening, even if you haven't reserved a table there for dinner.​

How can I sit with my friends or family at the party?

Each table accommodates 4 or 8 guests. To ensure you are seated with your group, please notify us at the time of your ticket purchase. If your seating plans change, contact Amy Welch, Director, at 570-724-6220 or email director@deanecenter.com.

What is the menu? 
The full menu is pictured above.  The main meal will be served at 6:00 PM, with light fare offered after 8:00 PM. Three cash bars will offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, which can also be redeemed using drink vouchers.

What should I wear? 

“Cruise Elegant” - We recommend an elegant outfit that you would wear to have dinner with the Captain on a cruise trip.  

 

What is the Casino activity? 
Our second-floor Grand Community Room will be transformed into a European-style casino featuring blackjack, roulette, poker, and more. The casino opens at 7:00 PM, and admission is $10. Entry includes “Deane Dollars” to spend on the tables.  

 

What live entertainment will be available? 
A special 30-minute Cruise Ship Entertainment Revue kicks off the evening’s entertainment at 7:15 PM in the Coolidge Theatre. At 8:15 PM, try to stump the piano player during an ‘all requests’ performance. Hit the dance floor at 9pm for a DJ set and dance contests.  There will be small games of chance held during the breaks.  

 

 

Should I bring cash? 
Yes, there will be two cash bars available during the event. Cash will also be useful to purchase raffle tickets, participate in small games of chance. There is an ATM located outside the back doors of the Deane Center.
