Volunteers
The Deane Center is always looking for community members to volunteer during our shows and events. Whether you can only do a few shows or if you are interested in being a regular, any form of volunteering is greatly appreciated. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please fill out the Google Form linked below!
Volunteer Opportunities
Greeter
Our greeters welcome patrons as they enter the theatre. Make conversation, direct them to Box Office, talk about the show. Our greeter's goal is to make the patrons feel at home!
Ticket collector
Our ticket collector stands by the theatre entrance and collects tickets.
Box Office assistant
Our box office assistant helps sell tickets and check in patrons who bought tickets ahead of time.
Usher
Our ushers direct patrons to their seats and hand out programs if available. Ushers also ensure that all patrons are sitting in the correct areas.
Concessions attendant
Our concessions attendant serves popcorn and drinks to our patrons.
Stagehand
Our stagehands help to set up/take down the stage and equipment. They also help with setting tables and chairs in the theatre.
